Join us on 2 October at 16:30 at the Institute of Digital Games, as Prof. Matthew Guzdial takes us through the current state of Procedural Content Generation (PCG) and explores the current trends forward to imagine potential futures.

Digital Procedural Content Generation (PCG) has existed for nearly 50 years. Across these decades its perception in the games industry has ping-ponged between being the solution to all technical problems to being a time-wasting financial ruin (and back). In this talk, Dr. Guzdial will overview the current state of PCG and project current trends forward to imagine potential futures.

Attendance to the talk is free and we encourage curious members of the public and students from other faculties to attend, but space is limited, so please register here to make sure you will be able to attend. You will also be able to register on the day itself.
